Sie erhielt ihren ersten Violinunterricht im Alter von vier ein halb Jahren an der Musikschule „L.Pipkov “ in Sofia bei Irina Dragneva, danach wechselte sie zu Garnik Goukasjan und Prof. Evguenya-Maria Popova. Im Jahr 1993 übersiedelte die Familie nach Lissabon, wo Teodora Sorokow den weiteren Geigenunterricht bei Prof. Valentin Stefanof erhielt. Von 1994 bis 2002 studierte sie an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Wien bei Prof. Johannes Meissl sowie Prof. Josef Hell und schloss ihren ersten Studienabschnitt mit Auszeichnung ab. Im Jahr 2002 setzte sie ihr Studium an der Folkwanghochschule Essen bei Prof. Mincho Minchev fort und schloss im Februar 2004 ihre Diplomprüfung mit Auszeichnung ab. Teodora Sorokow bekam während ihres Studiums Stipendien von der Tokyo Fondation und von der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Wien. Im Jahr 1998 gewann sie das Konzertmeister-Probespiel beim Wiener Jeunesse Orchester und spielte mit dem Orchester im Berliner Festspielhaus, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Wiener Musikverein, Grossen Saal des Moskauer Konservatoriums und nahm am „ World Jouth Musik Forum“ in Moskau unter der Leitung von Maestro Valeri Gergiev teil. Teodora Sorokow hat schon während ihres Studiums zahlreiche Soloauftritte im Wiener Konzerthaus, Musikverein, Radiokulturhaus in Wien, beim Benefizkonzert im Wiener Börsensaal unter der Patronage von Lord Yehudi Menuhin und im Rahmen eines Benefizkonzertes in Bundeskanzleramt Wien absolviert. Weitere Solo- und Kammermusikauftritte führten sie nach Luxemburg, Deutschland, Österreich, Portugal, Italien, Bulgarien und Frankreich. Im Jahr 2010 haben Teodora Sorokow und die Pianistin Ruzha Semova ihr Kammermusik-Duo gegründet und sie konzertieren regelmässig beim verschiedenen Festivals in ganz Europa. Drei Jahre später ist ihre erste CD erschienen, welche im Wiener Konzerthaus aufgenommen wurde. Im November 2015 haben Teodora Sorokow und Ruzha Semova ihr Debüt im Wiener Musikverein, mit großem Erfolg, im Gläsernen-Saal gefeiert. Seit Sommer 2010 spielt Teodora Sorokow mit dem Ensemble Concertante jedes Jahr im Kammermusikzyklus beim Internationalem Musikfestival Grafenegg in Österreich mit. Sie hat auch bei dem Wiener Symphoniker-Kammermusikzyklus im Brahms-Saal des Wiener Musikvereines im Jahr 2013 erfolgreich mitgewirkt. Weitere Kammermusikalische Auftritte, sowie CD-Aufnahmen für die OeNB, folgten dann in dem Jahr 2014. Aufgrund ihrer Auszeichnungen und zahlreichen Auftritte erhielt Teodora Sorokow im Jahr 2005 die Österreichische Staatsbürgerschaft. Teodora Sorokow wirkte regelmässig auch bei den Wiener Symphonikern, dem Wiener Kammerorchester, dem Wiener Concert-Verein, der Wiener Kammerphilharmonie, dem „Arpeggione“ Kammerorchester, der „Art Kamera Wien“ , dem Erste Österreichischen Frauenkammerorchester und - als Stimmführerin - beim Symphonieorchester Vorarlberg mit. Teodora Sorokow hat ab April 2015 bis März 2016 intermistisch die Violin- Vorbereitungsklasse an der Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Wien übernommen. In der Zeit haben zwei ihrer Schüler die erste Preise, mit einer Weiterleitung zum Bundeswettbewerb, beim ,,Prima la Musica“ - Wettbewerb gewonnen. Sie gibt auch regelmässig Privatunterricht und ist bei verschiedenen internationalen Meisterkursen - als Dozentin - tätig. Regelmässige Meisterkurse verbinden sie mit der Bicocca Universität in Mailand, dem Eisenstädter Osterseminar, dem Amadeus International School Vienna sowie mit der Russisch - Österreichischen Musiksommerschule in Bregenz ...Sie hat auch an der „Vienna school for the Performing Arts -little music school“ unterrichtet. Sie ist Gründerin und Hauptdozentin bei dem Internationalem Meisterkurs in Sozopol, Bulgarien. Тук завършва с отличие първия етап от обучението си. През 2002 година продължава следването си в класа по цигулка на проф. Повреме на следването си е стипендиантка на Токийската Фондация и Виеннският университет по Музика и приложни изкуства. Още като студентка свири многократно като солистка във „Wiener Konzerthas“, участвува в Бенефицконцерт под патронажа на Лорд Йехуди Менухин във „Wiener Börsensaal“ и в тържествени концерти организирани от правителството на Република Австрия. Концертира като солистка и с камерни формации в Люксембург, Германия, Австрия,Португалия и България. През лятото на 2010 участва в цикъла от камерни концерти в Международния музикален фестивал „Grafenegg“в Австрия. През 1998 год. става концертмайстор на Виенския младежки симфоничен оркестър, с които свири през следващите няколко години в концертни изяви в берлинската „Festspielhaus“,в залата на“Concertgebouw“ Амстердам, във „Wiener Musikverein“ и Голямата зала на Московската консерватория. Със същия оркестър през лятото на 1998 година взема участие в световния младежки форум „World Jouth Musik“ в Москва под палката на маестро Валери Гергиев. Заради творчески успехи през 2005 година Теодора Сороков получава австрийско гражданство. Теодора Сороков концертира редовно с: Виенски камерен оркестър, „Wiener Concertverein“, Виенска камерна филхармония, Камерeн оркестър „Arpeggione“, „Art Kamera Wien“, Първи австрийски дамски оркестър и като водач на Симфоничния оркестър на Voralberg. От 2004 до 2005 година е член на оркестъра на Нюрнбергските симфоници /първи цигулки/.
